How do I get started with Friendship.fm?
  1. Download the app from the App Store
  2. Create an account or sign in
  3. Choose your preferred music service (Apple Music or Spotify)
  4. Grant access to your music library
  5. Start sharing music with friends!
Which music services are supported?
Friendship.fm supports Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and Qobuz. Spotify Premium and Apple Music users can enjoy in-app playback and playlist syncing. Other platforms open in their respective apps.
Can I use both Apple Music and Spotify?
You can choose one preferred platform at a time. This helps optimize your experience and ensures music plays seamlessly. You can change your preferred platform in Settings.
How do I share music with friends?
There are several ways to share:
  • From the app: Search for a track and tap the share button
  • Share extension: From Apple Music or Spotify, use the share menu and select Friendship.fm
  • Your profile: Shared tracks appear on your profile for friends to discover
What is the "new arrivals bin"?
When you share a track, it goes to your "new arrivals bin" - a collection on your profile where friends can see your latest music shares. Think of it as your personal music feed.
How does Shuffle work?
Shuffle is a unique way to find music by creating a random feed of everyone's share activity. It's a great way to discover what people across the platform are listening to. Just tap the Shuffle tab and press play!
Why can't I see a friend's shared music?
Make sure you're following them - only shares from friends you follow appear in your feed and Shuffle playlist. You can follow friends by searching for them in the Search tab.
The app isn't playing music. What should I do?
Try these troubleshooting steps:
  • Make sure you're signed in to your music service
  • Check that Friendship.fm has permission to access your music library in iOS Settings
  • Verify you have an active Apple Music or Spotify subscription
  • Try restarting the app
  • Make sure your device is online
How do I change my preferred music platform?
Go to your Profile tab, tap Settings, and select your preferred platform under "Music Service". The app will optimize playback for your choice.
Is my listening data private?
Yes! Friendship.fm only shares what you explicitly choose to share. Your full listening history, playlists, and library remain private. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at [email protected]. We'll process your request within 48 hours.
